Album : Jeffrey Lee Pierce session project - Volume 2 : The journey is long Après la sortie de We are only Riders en 2009 (qui réunissait autour de 16 titres magnifiques Nick Cave, Mark Lanegan, Debbie Harry ou encore David Eugene Edwards), Glitterhouse est heureux de présenter le volume 2 de THE JEFFREY LEE PIERCE SESSIONS PROJECT, The Journey Is Long. Il s'agit, tout comme son prédécesseur, d'un album de relectures de titres de l'ancien leader du Gun Club n'ayant jamais figuré sur aucun album, voire jamais terminés et signés par la crème de la scène indé européenne et américaine. Le projet a été initié par Cypress Grove, le bassiste du défunt JEFFREY LEE PIERCE et fondateur de THE GUN CLUB aux côtés de KID CONGO POWERS. Il a en effet retrouvé des titres, des paroles, des bouts de bandes perdues, qu'il a ensuite proposés à la réinterprétation durant 13 années aux amis et aux fans de son ancien leader, dont NICK CAVE, MICK HARVEY, DEBBIE HARRY, BERTR! AND CANTAT & PASCAL HUMBERT. Cypress Grove explique qu'il ne s'agit pas d'un projet « tribute » regroupant les titres les plus célèbres, mais d'une collection d'interprétations de « nouveaux » morceaux.
